When is an estimate eligible for follow-up?

An estimate is eligible when its status is open and its quoted value is greater than zero. That does not guarantee delivery: before a follow-up can be queued or sent, your account sequence must be approved, the account must not be paused, the scheduled time must be due, the estimate must still pass suppression checks, and it must have a recipient email address.

How are scheduled follow-ups sent?

The seeded sequence has three editable messages with default planned offsets of one, three, and seven days. You must approve the sequence before eligible estimates enter the queue. The hourly queue-due-follow-ups job queues and delivers work that is due. Editing the sequence returns it to draft, so it must be approved again before new work is admitted.

What happens when a homeowner replies?

An inbound reply is matched to estimates by sender email without regard to letter case. Every matching active estimate is marked replied and its queued touches are cancelled, so no later follow-up is sent for those estimates.

How are opt-outs handled?

Accepted Answer

An estimate with an optedOutAt suppression state is excluded during both queueing and delivery. Any queued touch is cancelled or skipped. The current app does not provide a homeowner unsubscribe link or a public opt-out action, so please use the support form below if an opt-out needs to be recorded.

Can an owner stop follow-up manually?

Accepted Answer

Yes. An authenticated owner can stop follow-up for one estimate. The action records the stop and cancels queued touches without changing the estimate’s quoted value. An account-level pause also blocks all sends until the account is resumed.

Question 6

What happens when an estimate is marked won or lost?

Accepted Answer

Won and lost estimates are no longer eligible for follow-up. In dashboard status, won and lost take precedence over older queue or reply activity. Lost estimates do not contribute to either revenue total.

Question 7

What is the difference between quoted pipeline and confirmed revenue?

Accepted Answer

Open and paused estimates contribute their quoted values to quoted pipeline. Only estimates marked won contribute their quoted values to confirmed revenue. Quoted pipeline is opportunity value, not a forecast and not confirmation that a payment has been received.
